Recipe of the Week: Cowboy Beans

  • 1-lb. hamburger
  • 1-lb. sausage
  • 1-c. chopped onion
  • 2-(15oz.) can Ranch Style beans or Shurefine Chili-etts
  • 1-(15 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1-(14oz.) can Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • 1-(18oz.) jar Head Country barbecue sauce
  • 1-lb.bacon,fried and crumbled
  • 1-lb.smoked sausage,sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Fry hamburger,sausage,and onion together.  Drain.  Add remaining ingredients.  Simmer over low heat 1-2 hours.

THIS IS A MEAL IN ITSELF! WONDERFUL WITH CORNBREAD!
