Pineapple Pretzel Fluff

1 Cup Coarsely Crushed Pretzels
1/2 Cup Butter, Melted
1 Cup Surgar Divided
1 (8 oz) Pkg Cream Cheese
1 (20 oz) Can Crushed Pineapple, Drained
1 (12 oz) Pkg Cool Whip

In a bowl, combine pretzels, butter and 1/2 cup sugar.  Press into a 9" X13" Pan.  Bake at 400˚.  Cool.  Beat cream cheese and rest of sugar till creamy.  Fold in pineapple and whipped topping. Chill till serving.  Break pretzels into small pieces.  Stir in immediatly before serving.
