Recipe of the Week: Mom's Apple Pie

Apple Pie Crust Ingredients:
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 cup Butter Flavored Crisco
- 1/2 cup Ice Cold Water
Apple Pie Crust Directions:
- Put flour in bowl.
- Cut half of Crisco in until the size of peas.
- Cut remaining Crisco in until the size of pinto beans.
- Add water and mix just until dough sticks together.
Apple Pie Filling Ingredients:
- 3 Granny Smith Apples - Peeled & Sliced
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- 2 tbs Flour
- 2 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 tbs Butter
Directions:
- Mix pie filling ingredients.
- Place in 9" crust filled pie pan.
- Top with remaining crust.
- Use cookie cutter to vent holes in top.
- Brush with cream of milk and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake at 300 degrees until nicely golden brown.
- Serve with Ice Cream & enjoy!
