Recipe Of The Week - Grandma's Cornbread

Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Crisco
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 4 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Directions:
- Mix together Crisco and sugar.
- Add egg.
- Mix well.
- Add Milk.
- Then add dry ingredients (flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt).
- Pour into well greased 9x13" pan.
- Sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until toothpick poked in middle comes out clean.
