Recipe Of The Week - Fresh Strawberry Pie Crust

First Layer:
1 CUP FLOUR 
1/2 CUP BUTTER FLAVORED CRISCO 
3 TBS. COLD WATER  

Cut Crisco into the flour, leaving some 1/2” size. Add water a little at a time. Roll out on floured surface. Place in pan and crimp edges. Bake @ 350º for 12 minutes or until lightly brown.

Second Layer: 
8 OZ. CREAM CHEESE 
1 1/2 CUP POWDERED SUGAR 
8 OZ. COOL WHIP 

Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add Cool Whip and spread over cooled crust.

Top Layer: 
1 CUP WATER 
1 CUP SUGAR 
2 TBS.CORNSTARCH 
3 TBS. STRAWBWERRY JELLO 
16 OZ.STRAWBERRIES-SLICED 

Cook sugar, water and cornstarch until thick. Remove from heat and add jello. Allow to cool and add strawberries. Spread over all. This is well worth the work.
