Recipe of the Week - Morning Maple Muffins

Ingredients for Maple Muffins:

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Melted Margarine
  • 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Egg

Ingredients for Vanilla Topping: 

  • 3 tbs. Flour
  • 3 tbs. Sugar
  • 2 tbs. Chopped Nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon 
  • 2 tbs. Cold Butter

Directions:

Mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix milk, margarine, maple syrup, sour cream, egg and vanilla together. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fill muffin tins 3/4 full. Mix Vanilla topping ingredients until crumbly. Spoon on top of muffins. Bake @ 375º for 12-13 minutes.
