Recipe Of The Week - Apricot Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Dried Apricots
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 cups Flour
  • 4 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 cup Orange Juice

Directions

Soak Apricots and water for 45 minutes. Cream sugar, butter, and eggs. Add Apricot mixture and orange juice, mix together well. Add remaining ingredients. Put in 3 large loaf pans or 6 small ones. Bake for 45-50 minutes at 350°. This recipe is very good with Cream Cheese!
